BIGGEST LIFE PARADOX : How to Spend Money Wisely

Before I start to write on this topic . . .I would like you all to ask yourself a question. Do you people end up saving the amount of money you thought you would be saving when you get your salaries or in my case pocketmoney ??


Wel my answer is no ! :(

I am asking you this because everyone can spend money . . .but its only a few who got the "skills" to spend it wisely.

Let me tell you some people some ways to spend money wisely . . .

• Find clothes on sale : Always look out for items on sale . There are end-of-season sales in almost every apparel store be it branded or non-branded.
• Find versatile footwear  :Buy a pair of flip flops either black or white because they match with everything and a pair of nice going-out shoes.
•  Avoid splurging too much at once : If you go out to the movies, for example, don't buy movie theatre snacks. Instead, after the theatre, get a somthing from a store nearby.
• Accessorize : Accessories are costly sometimes but one can always look out for cheap accesories at their local markets. And if you wanna get really creative, make your own purses, bags, wallets, and cell phone and ipod cases by crocheting and knitting.
• Do not get a credit card unless you are under deadly circumstances : A credit card just tempts you to splurge out.
• Compile a list of what you need, and what you want : Budget for it so that when your salary/pocketmoney comes in, you can buy what is on the list. Don't buy anything that is not on the list, though include food, clothes, and extras.
• Treat yourself when you have saved a lot of money : Instead of buying that expensive watch , you bought the cheaper one and saved yourself a few bucks! Celebrate by going out for coffee with a friend :)
• Ask for a pay/pocketmoney raise if you feel you deserve one : Tell your boss/parents why you think you deserve one, and reason fairly.
• Know when to limit yourself : For instance if you are a magazine obssessed person and you buy 10 magazines each month, stop! Choose one or two of your favorite magazines and subscribe to them for a year.
• Don't go out and spend all of your money at the pub, drinking : It is such a waste. Limit yourself to a couple of drinks or no drinks per week. Or you can just quit drinking altogether. It will save you a lot of money. And possibly your life.
• Go through all of your old stuff, sort out a section that you don't want and sell it : Auction off stuff on eBay or sites like that . . .Instant cash !
• Avoid borrowing money : It adds up to the cost. You really want something , put it on a list, and get it next month.

AND LASTLY

Don't spend any money on thing useless, save up for those things that are important!!

If you follow the above things . . .you might end up saving a few bucks at the end of the month. I am trying to follow these steps , will tell you the results at the end of the month !
